Master Rickson Gracie Seminar – July 2018

As part of the most recent stop on the Rickson Gracie Cup in Glasgow, Master Rickson Gracie put on a seminar at the venue the day before the competition; to which Team Pedro Sauer UK instructor Robin French, and two club members, Sam Keyes and Jamie Schramm, travelled up for.

For the hour immediately preceding the seminar, Professor Steve Maxwell held a mobility seminar, which prepared the guys well for the seminar ahead.

Master Rickson’s session first focussed on the principle of base, demonstrated from a standing position, before moving onto principles and techniques from the closed guard.

Feedback from the sessions was great, with the guys eager to return for next years event.
